Stress – it’s everywhere. Whether you experience it as anxiety, depression, health problems, relationship difficulties, or trouble sleeping, sooner or later almost all of us feel the negative effects of stress. If stress is just occasional, it might feel like a bump in the road and you move on. But often, stress is chronic – your, or a loved one’s health problem, feeling constantly under the gun at work, always struggling to make ends meet financially, or ongoing communications difficulties in your relationships can take huge tolls both mentally and physically.
I’d like to help. I can teach you methods for managing the stresses you can’t control (like a loved one’s illness), with techniques you can quickly learn to use for yourself. With these techniques, you’ll greatly reduce the effects of stress. For other issues, I can work with you to develop ways of reducing or eliminating the stressor itself. This is often a matter of not seeing the forest for the trees. As a trained therapist,, I can help provide you with fresh insights and often assist you in finding another, less stressful approach.
There’s no need to suffer silently. The most important step you can take towards a happier life is recognizing it’s time to get some help. We can work as a team so you can reach your goals of learning how to master your own.
